Redeemer Food Pantry
Thank you for continuing to bring your food offerings each week to nourish body and soul of our sisters and brothers in Trenton.
THE FOOD PANTRY currently serves about 45 to 60 people once a month. food bags are also given to Lutheran Social Ministries as needed for refugee families. Richard and Jackie are the keepers of the Food Pantry and do a wonderful job stretching the food supply.
If you wish, you may make a monetary contribution and we will purchase food that is needed. We deliver the food to Redeemer whenever there is a full car load.
Use your free item coupons to add to our food baskets in the narthex. When free turkeys or hams are offered, call and we will see that they get to the food pantry. Call if you have questions or special donations.
ESPECIALLY NEEDED:
Dry Milk
Cans of fruit - peaches,
pears, fruit cocktail
Fruit juices - apple,
cranberry, grape
Drink mixes (like Kool-aid)
Canned fish - tuna, mackerel
Bath soap
Disposable razors
Tooth paste and brushes
Laundry detergent
ALWAYS NEEDED:
Peanut butter & jelly
Crackers
Canned lunchmeat & stew
Soup
Cereal
Small jars of mayonnaise
Since these items must be carried on buses or traveling on foot, items in UNBREAKABLE CONTAINERS are safest for everyone.
