Abiding Presence Lutheran Church
This shows the general arrangement of the rooms on the main level of the church. When you come in through the main entrance, the first room you see is the Narthex. From here, you may proceed to the sanctuary or to the fellowship room. To the left is a hallway to the elevator, the altar guild room, and music room. To the right is a hallway to the main office, the nursery, the bathrooms, some meeting rooms, the library and some classrooms.
In addition to the rooms on the main level, there are several other classrooms on the lower level, below the sanctuary. These rooms are not shown on this page. However, you may visit the lower level by using the stairway next to the sanctuary, or use the elevator on the other side of the sanctuary.
Members may choose to use the side entrance. This is an easy way for parents to go from the parking lot to the classroom area. There are also several emergency exits which may be used if necessary.
Because of the complexity of this diagram, some of the room doors are not shown. In some rooms, the door are shown as simply an opening through the wall.
Starting in the Narthex, we will walk in a clockwise direction to visit the choir room, the fellowship hall, the kitchen, the nursery, the two meeting rooms, one of the classrooms, the library, the main office and the sanctuary. We will also visit the youth room, which is on the lower level and is not shown in this diagram.
